Default Best tires on ice and snow???

I'm sure this matter has been dealt several times, but I'd like to hear you comments. What are the best tires on ice and snow? And, what are the best mud tires on ice and snow?

Thanks!

the stock bfg's are pretty good on most surfaces, i have nitto mud grappler and they were cool on the snow, but loud and bumpy on the road, bfg's are a good all around tire

Hello W1N

Go for tires with studs when the car is quite heavy. Coopers Discoverer S/T LTD 35-12.50-17 are really good tires.
