Factory Ride Height
Can someone help me with the factory ride height? I had my torsion bars adjusted by a Goodyear service station and I am ready to take them back to factory settings because the ride isnt worth the height advantage. So if anyone can tell me what the distance is from their left or right front center fenderwell to the ground or any other measurement I can use so that I may readjust my height to factory settings I would greatly appreciate anyones help. Thank you.

Re: Factory Ride Height
22 1/2 from center of hub to BASE of fender.
How many turns did they go with it?
What kind of issues? Basketball front end? Wobble?
You may just need to crank it down a 1/2 turn or maybe a full turn.

Re: Factory Ride Height
Either use the Bebe method of measuring, or you will need to provide and ask others the tire sizes to compare apples to apples!

Re: Factory Ride Height
These guys maxed them out. It looked cool but as soon as I left the station I noticed the basketball effect. It became annoying after 500 miles so I have to fix them soon.

I use that measurement because that's how Truxxx measures their torsion key lift.
If you measure from the center of the hub to the base of the fender, tire size has no effect on the measurement.
You should go no more than 3-3.5 turns from stock. If you get a longer travel shock or a shock extender you will be fine. Most of us have gone 2.5 to 3 full turns.

Mine did it at 50 MPH. It's a symptom of the shock topping out.
