Default Popping sounds coming out.?

A friend of mine recently purchased a 07 H3 with Monsoon 6-disc changer. He noticed that popping sounds coming out from the speakers. He was told it may be an amp problem. Wondering the place where the stock amp is located and does anyone has the similar problem.

Any input will be helpful.

I believe the stock am is located next to the sub... its in the rear of the vehicle drivers side, the panel does pop off just got to convince it is all...

Are you sure it's not just white noise, and someone is trying to contact him from the otherside

Usually when you have popping noises, it means you may have a loose connection somewhere or crossed wires.

yeah amp is in the back next to sub, have fun getting to it. is it an aftermarket radio? if so then its probably the GMOS, or whatever cheap knock off they have installed. replace it with the expensive 130 dollar one and you will be good.
