We got our first of many H3's in today. Many more in transit now. After driving it around and looking at it closely here is my honest opinion.
It's underpowered. It moves around OK on the highway, but around town and from a dead stop it is too sluggish for me. It feels like it has a rear tall differential gear ratio. All else is nice. Comfortable, feels nice to drive. Lot of nice things like cupholders and storage compartments. Most dealers should be getting theirs any day now.

wow that sucks, to slugish OHH, well I guess it back to the touregg or something else, I will wait till my order comes in to drive for myself, but I get the feeling that this seems to be the trend for people who have driven one.

guys, so you aren't going to buy a hummer becasue it doesn't come from the factory perfectly how you want it?

The other SUV's out there are nothing like this thing. As for underpowered, the power to weight ratio is almost indentical to the H2. the H2 is felt to be underpowered by many. But many of us will or have thrown a supercharger in there. (One more personal touch to YOUR vehicle). Worried about warranty? The dealer stands behind them if they put it in. Hell, that will be about another 120 HP. OMG, that thing will be a rocket ship!
...my 2 cents.

Mine was ordered 4/29/05. My dealer said about 12 weeks. I am hoping since some of you are getting yours in 6 weeks, I will to. I have a 3 year old perfectly running car, and I'm feeling a little guilty trading it in for a car that doesn't have much history (my dad helps with the guilt trip). So much about getting one of these things is spontaneous, and visceral. Check out my new ride! What do you think?

I am 110% positive about Al Serra hummer in CO Springs doing this and other H2 owners have doen this as well. I am having mine done in July while on vacation. As soon as we get the H3 and one is available, the H3 will also get one...after a few others try that I5 SC first.

But yes, i am sure tha my dealer will do this and keep the warranty. Now, the SC comes with a 3 yr 36,000 mile warranty becasue it voids the factory warranty. So if the SC causes engine issues and your certified dealer does the installation, it is covered.
MY DISCLAIMER: check with your dealer as they are different in some aspects. You can do a post in the H2 section to ask of warranty deals that they have gotten with their H2 and SC's.
At this point, it doesn't look as one is made for the I5, but not a big deal. someone will make one for the H3 within a year. It took about six months (I think) before the first H2 got one. Since this vehicle is over 20K cheaper, the mods are going to go through the roof!

Looks good Firm. I thought about going with yellow too but a friend of mine got a new yellow H2 recently so I decided not to. Looks great.

Yeah, all those drag races you get in...
Maybe a nice H3 owner will come pick you up and take you off-roading.

There was talk of doing the blackout treatment on H3's, but I don't think it went very far.

I really want Slate Blue but also have Red on order. If they start screwing around with me on price though I am not going to take delivery now. Will just wait a while.
