Default Solid Axle conversion

I'm looking to get an H1 as my daily driver (work, hunting/camping, aaaand highway trips to far out hunting spots)

I found a salvage 2001 with suspension damage, and was wondering if anyone has ever fabbed in solid axles-- I'm sure fixing stock suspension won't be cheap.. just curious.

thanks

Stick with the stock setup. SA would be way too much of a pain in the ass to install. Even though fixing the stock suspension may not be cheap, I'd be willing to be it would be cheaper then doing a full SA conversion. Would you be converting the back too?
