Hi everyone
Would it be possible to ask forum Buddies to help Me research a 10.5" touchscreen monitor running on DC current?
I'm searching but, it is so slow doing by myself. So much to look at.
Looking for good quality and a good price. Not wanting a high end High dollar monitor.
I'm considering a 12" touchsreen as well.
If You can help it would very appreciated.

Just because it's a touch screen that doesn't make the pornos more "life-like". Nice try though.

Taz, check with some local home automation/high-end security companies. They should have touchscreen monitors to fit any need.

Taz, Dennis has the Kenwood LZ-800W and it's really cool. So cool that I'm getting one.
Just went wheeling today with a bunch of friends and one of them just had the Kenwood Nav and the LZ-800W installed. He loves it.
Plus, you can easily put Saran Wrap over it so you don't mess it up.

Mind me asking what you are planning on using this touchscreen for?

http://www.lilliputweb.net/
http://www.xenarcdirect.com/store/home.php

I am probably getting a lilliput as they are made by the same over seas company or as it seams and they cost less.

Guys, you can also check the below website. Search for what you are looking for and then contact the manufactures to see about purchasing. Most only sell wholesale in quantity but some will sell individual units.

Hi everybody. Been a little sick last week or so. Had another black out spell last Thursday but, has not come back. It happend as I drove to the shop but, felt it coming like before and pulled over and after about an hour I was able to have a clear head or as clear as mine ever gets and went on to the shop. I did not take a chance driving home so the guys took Me home and followed so I would have My truck at home the next day. I miss My mall Queen bad.

I been in the shop everyday with My Mall Queen and staying late.

I'm leaving for New York Saturday morning but, will check in on everyone with laptop. I told some not sure who now, as I had some memory loss this time with the black out, really weird. My Daughter is singing in Carnigie Hall. A once in a lifetime deal and I could not let it go by with out going.
The Carnigie Foundation has been nice and planned the whole trip with 3 Broadway shows, Ole Miss Liberty tour, Empire State Building, and other things with it concluding after the final performance We go on a Harbor cruise with diner and tour of city skyline and Liberty at night. They said no Tux but I went out and bought a suit that looks very close that it is more formal like a Tux. I figured someone would have the info wrong and I would be there in Dockers and a Hummer shirt with My ball cap on. Do not know about the Show stuff. It is the shows
Hair Spray , Movin Out, and Phantom of the Opera. I did not like the Opera when I watched all the different versions made into movies over the last 50 years. Hoping each time it would be better with more realistic effects. Oh well if I do not go I'm making the kid and her friends sell my tickets out front while I do something else like walk around the street and see if I can keep from getting mugged.

I'm excited I have never been and always wanted to so this was a good reason.

Monitors sizes for show stuff. I'm going to remove the factory radio and put a PC under seat that will have XM, 6 disc changer, NAV, day planner and 6 or 7 other functions. It will show water temp., oil pressure and 3 or 4 other vitals, transfer case temp. Stuff already there but it will be on the screen if I want to and if HUD works it will be more futuristic. Trying to see if We can get Boost, fuel pressure and air/fuel ratio to go through PC to monitor. A challenge but, fun to do it especially if it works. BLOWNZ06 has the PC system working with 7" monitor all I have to do is add a 12", I just want to build a custom center dash. Just started today measuring to see what would need to be moved and shaped to hold 12.1" screen, does not look good may have to go 10.4". The guy helping Me with body stuff says if i want 12" He can mold a console to hold it and look great. Just have to decide where to move A/C and OnStar. Probably drop A/C to the bottom and put OnStar in overhead. Move cig lighters to each side of shifter console or something like that. Looking at putting a 14" or 15" monitor back for the second row to watch. But, the nice thing is I can set PC to run a loop with sponsors running all the time at the show and explaining what is on the Girl. As much or as little detail You want to give. Thanks for the links. I have been looking at Xenarc but will check lilliputweb and asiansources.com.

Judges points at the shows is the big reason. I'm not lowering or lifting so i have to go techie to be in the hunt. Something out of the ordinary and more one of. Trying to get ready for some bigger things coming up and have a company that is building a very neat item that they are taking to SEMA for H2 and I have been helping them with My H2 as their prototype. They want Me to consider letting them haul it to Vegas in Nov. 2005 and flying Me out there. I told them I would be happy to but, i may ride in the H2 on the trailer to provide My own security. I need to check gun permit laws from AR to Vegas.

Got the supercharger on and looks great but, as We started to go back with everything We realised now would be the time to chrome everything We can get our hands on in the engine bay before We put it together and start chroming undercarriage. WE are looking at how much of the surrounding support metal in engine bay can be unbolted and chromed and We are doing mix of chrome and Stealth Gray like pulley's going to be Gray. Just kind of flipping the bay look by chroming all around engine and painting engine and polishing all the raised fins or lettering etc. Polishing the alum. air intake but, painting large Hummer letter in Gray on it. We are putting a sheet of aircraft alum. on the underside of hood over insulation and counter sinking the screws, polishing it and painting Hummer in huge gray letter so when the hood is flipped up the bay is going to blind somebody. Just trying to do anything I can think of that is different. Have an artist drawing 4 murals one for each door that are real light white, black, and silver mixed colors. Sort of light and whispy looking. It will tell a story.

I'm having serious H2 withdrawls not having been able to drive it since last Thurs. and now will be 2 more weeks. Then I can drive it some and We are going to buy spare undercarriage parts or maybe Fabtech, no lift but to chrome. If not Fabtech, Dealer is going to work with Me on locating parts to switch out while chroming or furnishing parts to chrome as sponsor.
Anyway so much to do. My Dealer has been great and they are very performance oriented. Did almost $2000 of labor installs on somethings. Put electric fan on and used GM model for 2005 trucks. Man the operating temp on water dropped a bunch and A/C will freeze You out. Was considering a back unit but, that idea is dead now. I will go with woofers and amps back there now. I found out from dealer that this was the solution to Escalades with A/C problems. Not all suffered but, some. My H2 A/C stunk it up and had it in 3 times and everything always checked OK. Now fantastic. Well thanks for all the help.
DRTY is the Kenwood a large screen?

TAZ!!!! We were just talkin behind your back!

Glad to see you posting again buddy. Hang in there. Phantom rules!

I believe mine is the 10" touch screen. I'm berry happy with the setup.

Here's a pic during Saturday cartoon madness in the driveway.

I can tell you love your kids. You let them eat fast food in your Hummer! Cute.
