Rear susp hitting frame...
Yesterday we did a little wheeling in the H2. Nothing real extreme, but there were a few places where it was articulated to the point where there was a front or rear tire completely off the ground. At one point I had it parked with the right rear hanging down and I noticed that the links that go from the top of the axle to the frame were hitting the frame when in the full up position. Here are some pictures to show what I mean. Is this normal? Anyone else seen this?
For reference this is how it was parked when I took these pictures:
This is the right rear frame rail just behind the bump stop:
This is just forward of the last one above the bump stop:
This is what is hitting those spots shown above. The bolt head and the side of the link:
This is from the left side, which was all the way up at the time. In the circles you can see the bolt head and link contacting the frame:

Hmmmm, is there a pattern developing here?

Re: Rear susp hitting frame...
Ok. Not to worry then? It doesn't turn into anything worse than a couple shiny spots?

Re: Rear susp hitting frame...
They all do it when off camber - no need to worry about it. The shiney spots will turn to rust shortly
