Pedestrian Hit
A Nacogdoches woman is recovering after being hit by a Hummer H-3. The incident happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Austin street in Nacogdoches. John Lynn Martin of Joaquin was driving the vehicle that hit Alicia Long. Investigators say Martin was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. He is now being charged with intoxicated assault and providing alcohol to minors. That's because a 17-year old passenger in his car allegedly consumed alcohol as well. Long was taken to a local hospital.
