Finally got around to painting my wheels..
Well I love the way it looks, but I am not too pleased with my paint job. I think I am gonna have to try it again. You cant tell from the pics and the dirt, but the paint kinda wrinkled and even after the clear coat did not give a shiny appearence. My body shop guy is going to come look at them when he gets time to see what he can do.
Anyways here are the pics...

That looks awesome, at least in the picture. The tires make it look mean. Good job

Re: Finally got around to painting my wheels..
I like it. I wouldn't want a gloss finish on them.

Re: Finally got around to painting my wheels..
Looks perfect! All you need to do now is HOAB the H3 emblems!
For what its worth... I prefer the non-glossy look. Less Blingy!

Looks good! This color scheme should be an H3 option.

Re: Finally got around to painting my wheels..
Looks good in the pictures, BUT you should have powder-coated them the 1st time and saved yourself the time. But experience is how we learn.

Re: Finally got around to painting my wheels..
Used the duplicolor wheel paint and clear coat..
And yes I would have had them powder coated, BUT I would of had to send them off and be without a vehicle for several days.

You'll do anything to fit in won't ya fat ass? You need to fit in with a few months worth of Jenny Craig.

Don't remove them, just mask the area and paint. We sprayed Duplicolor truck bedliner after a light sanding with a palm sander.

Re: Finally got around to painting my wheels..
Looks awesome. I like the black on red combo. How do you like your tires? Are they tolerable on road. Getting 35's is one of the next things I want to do. Did you do the torsion bar adjustment?

I never liked red on the H3, but you've changed my mind. Nice.

Wouldn't own any other tire. They are not the loud at all just a slight humm to let you know they are there. And yes my torsion bars are cranked 2.5 turns.
Thanks again for the compliments guys!!
