Volant intake for sale:
I have a used volant intake for sale. It consists of the volant box and the tube. I am the second owner of this intake and it is still in perfect working condition, but its visual condition isnt the sexiest. It looks like the previous owner may have had it too loose and the fan rubbed against it causing some wear to the outside of the tube. No big deal though. The filter is still in good condition also and it really screams once installed. Honestly, i didnt notice any MPG increase so dont go into it thinking that! ill take $200 plus shipping for it! let me know if you have any questions! email or call me!

Re: Volant intake for sale:
Tom, the only thing "beat up" about it is that the fan got in its way a little. It doesnt affect its performance at all and who the hell cares what i looks like anyways right? its under the hood! other than that, its perfect, jsut dirty! about the MAF...I dont think so, if so, it didnt come with one! I think thats a different package you can buy, which is a lot more!

Re: Volant intake for sale:
Refresh my memory, but it seemed to me like the pic of the box looked fairly weathered as well (not beat up by the fan, but very faded etc.).
Actually looks are important to me under the hood, as well as detailing.
I would actually buy it in it's conditionand then send it to Stuart in the "Dash Boards" thread and have it put one of his custom finishes on it to make it look good again.
Let me know what you will take for it or I can trade you a Airaid filter box for it that is new condition.

Re: Volant intake for sale:
I know it seemed faded, sorry about that. I didnt feel like cleaning the dust/dirt off it. It is as good as new though, I will clean it up and make it all nice and black again for you if you want it. I use a black trim detailer and it works really good. No worries. I cant take the air raid from you though because I no longer own the hummer. I am moving overseas soon and cant take crap with me! -B

Did you get my PM?
Can you post some more detailed pics than the ones that were on ebay?

That wasnt cool TomP. I just canceled the ebay post because you said you wanted it and you canceled the paypal request I sent you. Thanks.

Re: Volant intake for sale:
What wasn't cool was that you sent me a bill for $170
If you read the posts above, I offered you $50 for that chewed up thing. My PM nicely explained that you must have misunderstood my offer. It clearly states above that it was for $50 and not $170.00. Also, in post #6 above, I asked for clarification if there was a different amount other than the $50 that you were expecting to get for it. You then ignored the request for the amount you were expecting, and asked if I wanted it after the last offer was $50!
My wife must have cancelled the paypal invoice because I told her that was not what we agreed on.
