Thumbs up great freakin support

well it took a couple months but when i got home today there was a letter from hummer . it was a nice letter but the best part was that there was a check for $314.40 this was the hotel reinbursement for the moab valley inn and the 2 days we had to spend in south jordan waiting for the repairs .

all in all i have to say that hummer steped up on this one , the only thing they wouldant reinburse was the Heep rental , i dont blame them

they need a H3 rental facillity in moab

so anyone wondering , you can bust your junk on golden spike . Hummer will fix it and cover your extended stay along with towing etc. just try to rent a gm vehicle rather than a heep , they will cover that too !!!! but they wont cover renting a H1 for 500 bucks a day , we tried .

Great to hear!

Although, I think I'll still try not to blow up my truck when we're there.

its cool no worries Beebster and i have it all figured now , if we get in stuff where we are spinnin bad , we need to air down more , maybe even to 10 psi we can air back up after the obstacle , stack rocks , etc. we just cant do the point and shoot H2 tecnique . it would be ok if all we busted were tie-rods but busted front diffs in moab can ruin your whole night but its all good we got ya covered !!!!!!!!!!!!!

our last trip was to find that limit and we did big time !!!!!!!!!!! ;-}

c'mon... point and shoot! point and shoot!

Neo, that's great! I wonder if people would try to break on purpose if they knew they could drive an H1 for a week. (a rental at that!)

That's great NEOCON

I got a letter from Hummer (Corporate) asking about my experience at my local dealership. All I had done was an oil change and alignment.

Sorry for not using "search" Neo, but how did you get the service after the bust, again? Did you call OnStar or the Hummer number on the manual in the glove compartment? Or did you wait till you got to the garage to have the work done then called? Thanks.

And I twisted my ankle all to hell running around trying to help everyone out. (We think I probably broke the 5th metatarsal again since it was so screwed up for a few weeks.)

It's great to hear HUMMER steped up like that!

It happened at the next obstacle after the Stairs while I was helping to move lines between the trucks.
