Read at your own risk
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now think about this:
Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.
(Yes, that's 80 million..)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is
.000188
Statistics courtesy of the FBI
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So, statistically, doctors are approximately
9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN,
BUT
ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Out of concern for the public at large,
Statistics on lawyers have been withheld for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!

Is there a NDA organization? Do I have the right to keep and bear doctors?

Re: Read at your own risk
Hey, no fair, I resemble that remark
But seriously, I haven't killed any of my patients who didn't deserve it. You will have to pry my physician license out of my cold dead hands. A country without a doctor is not worth living in. Doctors don't kill people, patients just turn around and die on us. If we aren't allowed to be doctors then people who are criminal will become doctors, do you think they will hesitate to kill? Doctors aren't trained to kill, but accidents will happen. Just keep doctors away from dying patients. Without doctors, diseases will run rampant and kill indiscriminately. We need to better train patients at how to use doctors. You should always keep a doctor who is loaded away from your child.

(Sorry, couldn't resist. I know I shouldn't have encouraged that to go on. BTW, has the forum stooped so low as to allow a JC AE now? Man.)

Re: Read at your own risk
What if somebody gets shot, goes to the hospital where the doctor accidentally kills the patient by falling into the open chest cavity because somebody shot and killed the doctor while the doctor was trying to save the shot persons life. Which category does the first persons death fall into?

You wish one of your AEs could post and appear half as intelligent.

Re: Read at your own risk
Paragon,
Concern yourself with more honorable endevours. Continue to follow my path for you are a righteous man.
As for Alec, by his own hands, insured eternal torment in fire. There is no salvation for him.
