Sounds like something is interfering with the class 2 data bus. A loose connection might cause this.
I'd check all of your connections to the NAV and CD Changer. Beware that sometimes a pin can be "pushed back" inside the connector making a bad or intermittent connection.

I just put mine in the shop for a similar problem. Mine would for no reason just blow out hot air only on the drivers side. If I shut the air off, in time, it would start blowing cold again for a short time. It seemed to do it on both fresh and recirculate.

Hmmm...mine does that occasionlly too, even after they replaced an orifice tube when it was in for service last time. Do you know what they did to fix yours IP?

mine last week when i was out of town and it was 97 plus out my a/c worked like **** drove 200 and some miles with very poor a/c ( warm inside ), sure wish i know what to do with it
