Anyone successfully have this addressed by their dealer. The problem doesn't happen all the time and have a bad feeling if I take it in the dealer going to give me the dreaded "no problem found".

It's not an issue with air flowing through the front grill. It has happened quite a few times at highway speed and at night. I can make all kinds of adjustments to the climate control and the air just stays luke cool to warm.

Any help or definite fixes would be appreciated.

My '03 was blowing warm air, and the dealer replaced the low pressure switch. This fixed the problem. However, none of my trucks have cooled as well as I would like.

Yeah I hear you. I had a 02 Avalanche and the air was terrible. On summer day after the truck was parked you'd have to drive 5 miles till it would start to cool things down. GM wonders why the losing their *sses. Try making it right up front bring quality products to market.

More people could be GM faithfulls.

Hey BigBlue... Got a fix... move up high in Colorado... dont ever need AC at this altitude!!

Seriously though, you are correct about the quality statement..

I mentioned that my '03 had the problem that the dealer fixed. I also had an '05 SUT that had similar problems but not quite as bad. The dealer just recharged the system on that one, but it never was quite right. My latest truck is an '05 SUV, but I haven't owned it through the summer months yet, so I can't say for sure. But for some reason I expect it will have issues as well. I say go ahead and take it in. If it's really bad, they'll probably swap out that low pressure switch like they did on my '03.

One of the 2 vents over the radio will be blowing freezing air while the other blows 90*, and both are set to 90*. My laundry list of warranty items is definitely growing!!
