Does this bracket mean my SUT originally came with a tonneau cover?
Like the title says, is this bracket what holds the tonneau cover? Just wondering if the previous owner had a tonneau cover on the truck originally.

No, all SUTs have them from factory. I think GM makes covers for them

There is a cover just for the rails and there is the Tonneau Cover which covers the whole bed.
Here are the rail covers.
