Look at the Kelvin Temp.
Lower Kelvin temps = more light.
Higher Kelvin temps = more white color.
So - the Extreme White is a 4000 K bulb.
The Platinum Super White is a 3800 K bulb.
In theory, the Platinum Super White would be slightly brighter at the same wattage.
At the bottom of this web page, you'll see a chart comparing true Xenon HID assemblies with different colors. At 4200K, the light given off is the brightest in lumens. At 10000K, the light given off is 1/2 of the 4200K bulb.

The same principles apply to Halogen/Xenon filament bulbs.
HTH,
Steve

Thanks Beastmaster
I added this to My favorites. I usually let Dragon guide Me on this stuff. But, the first chart I have seen for Myself.
Would You please give Me some info about My setup for now?
What kind of light will I get from a roof light bar with 5-55 watt quartz halogen H3 bulbs. They have a light blue colored lens over them which has a tendecy to make them look whiter I think.
Thanks
TAZ

That's a hard one. Ususally the bulb (if it came from a top end mfg) will have the wattage, the temp in K, and the model #.
If it's a really really light blue, I'd hazard a guess they are in the 4200 to 5000 Kelvin temp range.
As for light - each of your lights are equal in brightness to a single headlight. So - you should see about 2.5x the headlight outputs with what you have now. That (combined with the stock lamps) should light up stuff really well - night runs, anyone?
The lighting in your roof alone should put out about 7500 lumens worth of light. Not bad - that's equivalent to one of those huge arc area work lamps that sit on fire trucks and require 110 volt. It also exceeds most handheld light measurement systems.
