Angry 3rd chip in windshield

11 months 16,000 miles 3rd chip .Its not in drivers view .

This will be my 3rd glass claim for a chip Im not ready to get a windshield yet .I will wait for a larger crack or a chip in drivers view, its just a matter of time .

Does anyone know if a 3rd claim will effect my insurance policy.
I dont want it to go up.

I don't know about your state, but here in Washington, you get 2 windshields per year w/o rates going up (hypothetically, that's what my State Farm agent said, never tried it).

I too have 3 chips. I'll just wait until it cracks then have it replaced, I didn't bother to have the chips fixed since I guess I'll need a new windshield after this next winter.

Same here. I've had a couple chips in mine since April. Figure I'll just wait until it gets really bad.

if they are just chips, cant you fill them in and wait until something bigger comes along for the insurance claim??
