The first time that I took it in they tried replacing the actuator switch, didn't solve the problem. The BCM, I think, is behind the headlight switch panel.

I am not at home so I don't have access to my service manuals but there are a few BCMs that are somewhere behind the dash. There is a row of them just above the petals up in the dash, but I can't remember which one goes with the doors.

I should have read the procedure up above more closely and scanned the references it makes to "perform the setup procedure for the instrument panel" and other references.

Let us know if you figure anything out.

I gave up and dropped the truck off @ the Dealer. It'll have to sit all weekend, until Tues. before anyone works on it. I am now the happy driver of a Chev Trail Blazer (new only 800 miles). Sure hated to give up the Hummer after not having it for the last 4 weeks. But the wider tires were really beginning to rub the frame.

Also, tried to jump the door connection. Didn't work.

Hi I cam across this thread . look i have the dam problem driving me nuts , and i live at the moment in the Czech Republic , where is the BCM , and whats the cost approx , jesus over i order a part they think of a number and times it by 10 so its always handy to know the cost ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,can i replace the BCM myself ?,,,,,,,,,,,,now i have small kids and i have the child lock on , and now the right rear door wont open from inside or out side ,,,,,,,,HELP HELP
