Lights on the underside of the outside mirrors.

There are cars and SUVs that already have these. And it is a wonder that this $50-60k vehicle doesn't have them, when much cheaper GM vehicles do.

What I really want is not just the white "light up the ground" LED lights, that would turn on with the interior lights, but also I would like a set of red LEDs that shine to the rear, so that they could be wired into the turn signals to flash in the direction the turn signal is flipped.

Yes, I've seen those replacement mirrors with the red arrows behind the mirror that do a similar thing. But I refuse to spend $250 to $300 for a mirror replacement to pick up the red arrow and then lose the heating element (helps get rid of the morning dew).

Nah! I figure someone out there might have already come up with a cheaper solution of the red and white LED combo, wired separately. that I could just mount (or stick) on the underside of the existing mirrors (which I like otherwise).

Any clues out there?
