Default H2 supercharged transmission upgrade

my H2 is supercharged. Does anybody have an idea for a transmission upgrade?

the 4L80 upgrade is ni good because I put on 37 inch wheels and the 4L80 is stronger but the gears are about 10 % longer than the stock 4L65. The 4L65 and 4.1 final gear is already way too long for nice performance. I can drive in first gear about 120km/hour which is of course no good for nice acceleration. In fact I hardly need the 3 other gears for the moment.

I went to Geiger cars in Munchen but they had no solution for me except changing transmission every 3000 miles.

I hope someone can help me out

If you were in southern California I would say go see Mike at Ingelwood transmision. if he builds your trans your good to go .Mike L is the man. he can ship you one and he is very fairly priced .

well, a 4l80e with a 4.88 or 5.11 rear gear would help out a bit.....

that 4l65e is just waiting to go...

Talk to these guys about tranny upgrades that they have proven will last using it in other rides and for a good time now. They are:

flp2win.com

700raptor.com

I have talked to both shops several times and both seem eager to do what they can to please and meet your needs.

One thing to keep in mind when talking about tranny upgrades is to remember that 03 and 04 tranny's came with a 4 gear and sun cage. They will upgrade you to a 5 gear and hardened sun cage.

On the 05 and up the tranny was switched to 5 gear and sun cage by factory so some gain there. The only advantage is if the newer parts have been cryoed.

In either case they if I remember correctly then add in a hardened input shaft. So main thing is ask how they have improved over the stock tranny you have and if in certain areas the factory has already made that upgrade can you save money by not having to buy these parts in a rebuild.

Now if You buy a swap out then you are stuck paying for things that you had already upgraded possibly in your factory tranny.

Well not much help but, at least some places to talk that will ship to you.

Oh on putting a 4l80 tranny in H2 is that when the tail shaft is turned down it weakens it and you may as well have run an upgraded 4l65e. I have asked questions of shops and they tell me that the turned down 4l80 shaft or even the 4l65e shaft could be croyed to make them extremely heavy duty. We are having rotors on brakes cryoed so that they almost do not wear out.

Hope this helps some on getting on the right road to get what you need.
