Default Will a fridge fit in the back?

Need to know if I can haul a fridge. Has anyone stuffed one in theback yet?

Will one fit with the seats down?

Is it one of those fridges that is too big to fit in the back? Or is it one of the smaller ones that will fit in back?

I'm guessing the answer is no, unless you're thinking of a beer keg or wine cooler fridge. I think a typical upright built-in fridge will fit within a space about 30 deep by 70 tall by 36 wide. That's without a shipping box around it. Go out there with a tape and measure the truck. Also, if it's close, remember that you can remove the doors and mounting bracket (or sometimes just the handles to get it to fit).

Just so you know ....never lay a fridg on its side. They should be trasnported standing up. Oil in the compressor. find a friend with a pickup or trailer.

I don't know about "never." I think it's okay as long as you let the unit sit up-right for a day before turning it on. Or so I've been told.

Yeah, never is sort of drastic. The oil just has to have time to settle back down.

You'll have to measure the fridge and then measure the H3's compartment. If you took the rear seats out (which is apparently rather simple) then you probably could fit a fridge. Otherwise, I think you're going to find that the slope of the seats is going to severely impact your ability to shove one in there.

I had a 300lbs, 60H x 36W x 20D electrical panel in the back of an H3 and still had room for a bunch of shooting stuff.

Why don't you look at the side of the refrigerator box for the dimensions? You might have to lay down some blankets and take the fridge out of the box so it'll fit. Or you could always find someone with an H2.

Yea, sorry for not clarifying.

I would be buying a used one for the garage. Standard upright full size with no box - again used..

I have re-arranged my garage and now I have room to put a fridge by the door and I really need one for sheet like beer and ummm more beer and maybe some chicken and steaks for the freezer side.. hahaha but maily beer..

You can find them all day around here used on craigs list for 100 bucks.. just dont know if I can commit to buying one and not get it in the H3.

I will finger it out one way or the other..

Merry Xmas yall
