Ugh what a week!
Left the 21st at 5am to get to Orlando airport early, so I could find a parking spot in garage, got there... Garage was basically empty, check in at US Air was empty, TSA check point empty, sat at gate waiting for over an hour. I could have stayed in bed longer. Plane was half full, get to DC cold and raining, the warm and raining. Went to Charles Town WVA to casino...LOST $.
The DC area is such a Hell hole now, way to much traffic.
Family biatching at each other, tried to come back early, all seats booked. Fianally left this morning (27th) 5am had the taix driver from hell, I was white knukled in back seat. Got a stand by flight out two hours early, get to OIA parking garage, H3 has a dead battery. Pick dog up from Kennel, she has a ear infection now. Have to be at work at 4pm and I am late because I fell asleep on the couch. 1/2 mile from the park and some drunk driver headon's the car next to me, OMG what a sound!! and the drunk Biatch leaves the scene... She was picked up making a 911 call saying her truck was stolen. She was in the parking lot across the street. Anyhow she has weed and beer and a warrant for her arrest.
God it is nice to be home! and singing the blues and playing my Violen
I need a vacation!

Re: Ugh what a week!
Sounds like the Christmas "Vacation" from Hell! It would definately fall under the "trip" category... Hope your New Years is better!

Re: Ugh what a week!
Has your battery died before? I have seen others mention this problem. How long did it sit without running?
As an afterthought, DC traffic sux big time. Trust me - I had to live there for six weeks

No, this was the first time with the battery. Yeah I have seen those threads also, I sure hope I don't start having those problems

Re: Ugh what a week!
Was anything left on? Was it cold where your ride was parked? I hate to be a pest but I entertain business travel on occassion and I do not wish to find myself in the unfortunate situation you were in. Thanks!

Re: Ugh what a week!
Nope, it was warm. It was parked at the Orlando International Airport. All lights were off, I am having it check Monday to see if any thing has a current going that is strong enough to drain the battery.
I have a place in the mountains of NC and have been there when it was 8 outside and didn't have a problem.

Re: Ugh what a week!
I left mine @ the airport for about 2 weeks, w/my gps accidently plugged in. Battery worked fine, no issues. Seems to be a hit & miss - if it happens again, go and complain and get a new battery from the dealer.

Re: Ugh what a week!
I have this funky christmas wreath that lights up on the front of my H3 (no comments please)- accidentally left it plugged in all night at least 3 different times and my H3 started just fine each time. Got lucky I guess
