We'll see... I've ordered the lift, exhaust and computer chip upgrade all at the same time... I'll let you know.

One thing to be warned about doing the chip upgrade (among other things).
1) If you have a marginal wastegate boost controller, the chip upgrade will make it seem like it's failing. Check with Ryan at Predator for more information about that.
2) The exhaust is a PITA to take apart. Be warned. You might actually have to take a cutoff wheel and a Dremel to get at some of the rubber isolator parts to get the stock unit off.
3) Body mounts for the lift kit - some of the mounts (like the one under the driver's side front) is a royal PITA to get to and work with.
You'll find that the guys at Predator (along with most of the other H1 parts shops out there) all are helpful.

Just an aside... I scraped the sh*t out of the steel plate below the doors on the passenger side on a rock (playing around without a spotter...)... The local GM Body shop is only charging me $200 to fix a four foot long gouge out of the metal...!!

That's easy to fix. There's two things you could do.
1) Get yourself some silver or black Rhinoliner. Roll it on, be done with it.
2) Get yourself some spray on Duplicolor rubberized undercoat. 4 Bucks a spray can at your local auto parts store.
Spray it on, making sure you put in cardboard or some other masking between the rocker panel and the rocker panel protection plate. Let it dry. The undercoat is black, so it will contrast with your truck's body and match your truck's top.
I'd attach a picture of my rubberized undercoat, but since my truck is black to begin with, you won't see it....

why would you want to get rid of it? Those are rocker panels, and it just shows that you actually use the truck. At your next hummer gathering you'll sit around drinking beer telling stories like the scene in Jaws where they are showing off scars.
