Cant wear my boots in the h3 cause when I accel sometimes hit the brake accidentally. Spoke to the GM service guy and he shruged his shoulders. Guess its time to get out the file...

Can't say that I've had that problem in 21K miles yet.

The one and only thing that I dislike about the H3 is the accelerator/brake pedal.
The distance between the two are very tight, and I don't even have a wide foot....OR DO I?

honestly you get over it and adjust to it over a short period of time. I wear size 12 shoes and I don't notice that problem anymore. I wanted the Dealer to fix it and was angry but I got over it. You will too.

Same here, except for the anger. My last vehicle (an Xterra in manual tranny) had close pedals. At first I would catch my feet on the wrong pedal from time to time. After a few weeks I had no problems. In fact I could drive it just fine in behemoth winter boots no problem as well.

I had to adjust how I position my right foot so that it doesn't hang up on the brake pedal. It didn't take long before I didn't even notice anymore but trying to BTM is very awkward

Better to use a rotary grinding tool. a. Remove the rubber brake pad grind off about 1/16 on right side and lower right corner. b. grind metal under brake petal 1/32 same way. That way the rubber part goes back on! Enjoy...

Didn't anybody else get one of these in the jack storage compartment?

I tried to cut the brake pedal but soon realized, GM doesn't want us to cut the brake pedal.... they want us to cut our feet!

Cool Re: Fat foot & Brake Pedal!

I cut the brake petal where the rod comes down and then put aftermarket pedals over them. My size 14's said thanks right away. Dont know why I waited so long to do it!!
