I have been emailing Gobi about when they will have the rack for the H3 ... They are cautiously optimistic that it will be available in about two weeks with a selling price somewhere between $1500-1700. Hmmmm

May be a little longer than that, but shouldn't be too long. You will see the same style racks as the H1 and H2 both have.

Just a Q, but how many H3 owners plan on putting a rack on their H3 in the next 6 months?

i will surley have a rack on my h3 with in a couple of weeks after delivery. i will probably go w/ the yakima rack, load warrior basket. bike racks and ski racks. the gobi rack is not really worth the price. i can get a complete yakima set up with all of the goodies for about $600.00. a hell of a lot less than the gobi and top notch quality! --jp's-h3--

Well, if the Gobi rack isn't for you, than the Yakima rack would be my second choice. Pricing also has not been officially released on the Gobi racks.

Depending on how you want the H3 to look up top, you may want to put the Mega Load Warrior up top. The load warrior make look small. I have not seen either up there yet though. When I had a ZR2 Blazer, i had the load warrior with extended bars and the fork mounts/ bike trays were on the outside of the basket. It made easier loading and gave more room to put camping stuff in. You'll have to post some pics when you get it finished.
