I had a Pioneer AVICD1 installed with a steering wheel control and now when I put the key in the ignition...the CHIME is really LOUD. The stereo installer said to read my manual....manual says to use button "6" on the factory radio to change loudness of chime. Obviously I can't do that....any ideas on how to lower the chime volume??? 2004 H2
Thanks,
Matt

STEP 1:
Take out your new stereo.

STEP 2:
Put your stock stereo back in and cpush #6 to change it.

STEP 3:

STEP 4:

Step 5:

Depending on which chime interface you had installed (Soundgate, Pac) there is a gain control on it for the chime and one for stereo/onstar.

I am still trying to find an interface for the steering wheel control that will allow me to control the volume of the Onstar from the wheel control

Have your installer tell you where they hud it. Mine is hehind my glove box so I can adjust it.
