ADVISORY: Thousands of Las Vegas Area Residents to Experience Giant Vehicle Playground Thursday-Saunday October 6-9

GM BRINGS AUTOSHOW IN MOTION TO TOWN; CONSUMERS TO TEST DRIVE 'TIL THEY DROP!

WHAT:
More than 150 of the most exciting cars, trucks and SUVs will be available for area residents to take for a test spin when General Motors brings AutoShow in Motion to Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Does anyone have any experience with these events? I'm actually going to Vegas this weekend (Bachelor Party) and would love to drive some other rides...

Is it ridiculously crowded? Long waits for certain cars? How long can you test drive?

Any info helps so THANKS!!!

I didn't go to the last one here either but heard it was pretty packed. If possible, I would go on a weekday rather than Sat. or Sun. I did go to a Ford event just like a number of years ago and it was pretty busy but not to bad.

We attended on in So Cal a few months ago. We went early on a weekday, so was not very crowded, however some of the lines were long as you might expect...H2, Corvette, GTO etc...The courses are preset, and typically you can go through the course once. For the corvette, a ride-along person was with us. For both the H2 and corvette, you had to "prequalify" to drive them by driving a sports sedan and large SUV, even though we already own and H2 ('03). It is a nice event....try the SSR it is a pretty nice sports pickup, but fairly expensive for a 2 seater. Have fun.
