the "Best Off Road Vehicle" in the world? Who stands behind their products as
good as GM and better than most other manufacturers? Many of our owner's say
that they have never been treated as fairly with any other product. Why do you
suppose that GM paid us Millions of Dollars for the Name, Marketing Rights and
Distribution rights of the civilian product? Lets just hope the product
offerings keep coming. As you can tell I'm very passionate about AMG/HUMMER/H1
and any other offerings with the HUMMER brand name.
AM General, AMSTAR included, we are "Off Road". Other companies are "Wanna
Be's" in Off Roading. We will always stand behind and support our products.
Your welcome to pass this information on to your H3 discussion group. Our delay
on some items is unfortunate but we will not offer the product unless it is
right and does the job better than or equal to the OEM.
Please keep in touch.

Sounds like a sales pitch. What else are they gonna say?

My point is, don't just run out and buy the Amstar stuff just because its the only thing out there. Unless you want to pay a premium. BTW, a lot of their products are just reconfigured OEM parts.

You just reinforced my point. It's gonna take owners going out and finding their own fabricators and coming up with their own ideas before companies like ARB and Warn realize there is a market there. I'm sure there are fabricators in your area. If you have an idea and the money, go find them.

I agree with that. I would love to bolt an ARB winch bumper to my H3, it would probably look better than Amstar's. I just wonder how long those companies will wait? Warn and ARB already have an FJ winch bumper. FJ came out after H3, there's more H3's around than FJ's, and I don't think the FJ weenies had to fabricate innovative off road equipment before lift kits and winch bumpers became available. I geuss Toyota is just more global than Hummer.
There is something wierd going on, you have to admit. Maybe (or for sure) GM is in with the Mafia and they're not letting other companies move in so they can secure high price, high end accessory profits?
