aftermarket offroad lights (assuming there are some made that size?)
I would like to either put in super bright bulbs if they won't melt the housing to use when offroad or driving back roads. I don't want roof mounted ones b/c of wind noise and clearance issues.

I am confused by the question -
offroad lights like extra lights on your brush guard or new replacement light bulbs for the OEM bulbs?
The part you said, "assuming there are some made that size?" is what is confusing me.
Please clarify because I have done both.

Ok, I put down the bong and re-read the question. So correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like you would like to take out the fog lights and put some PIAA's or something in there place? Correct?

I was going to say that those fog lights would be a little small for super bright bulbs but with HID's that would be cool. But if I were to pay that much I would just get HID for the main headlights.

I saw a post a couple months ago where someone replaced their fogs with yellow lights,, just the bulbs. How about just getting the KC grills and mounting them over the fogs. I thought about it cause I have KC's on my brushguard and the grills look like they would fit like the ones on this link. http://www.gforceautosports.com/kchilitesslimlite.htm

Haven't seen it done on an H3 yet. But a couple of H2's have done it.
There's some pics in this thread.

Re: has anyone attempted replacing factory fog lights with...
4" air craft landing lights from NAPA or small airport. I have done this on all my 4x4's. My first set is 30 years old and I am going to install them on my 06 H3 after I get my new bumper/winchinstalled. Hope they still light up.
Best Regards, RangerRick
