Default H2 rear shock absorber socket size question

Just noticed my rear shocks are leaking fluid, so time to replace and upgrade! Was hoping someone could tell me what size socket the shock mount bolts/nut takes. Put a 21mm on it be seems like a lot of play. Other than that looks fairly simple on the rear with no struts. Any advice appreciated as to the job.
