Went to put my H2 in park tonight and the whole base (transmission and cup holders) popped up. Now I can't get the key out of the ignition, unless I force the shifter forward to lock it into park. Has this happened to anyone else.

The whole set up including the cup holders just pops back down .... I had a similar problem, in that I could not get the key out .... it was that the transmission would not go into park. A friend fixed it by popping the whole shifter cover including cup holder set up, and adjusted the shifter for me. There are some adjustments in there under the rubber strip that slides with the shifter ...

I brought my H2 to the dealer yesterday to get it fixed. It turned out to be the aftermarket GPS system installed in the truck. The wires were run inside the center console and somehow moved which blocked the rubber piece that slides with the shifter. This forced the rubber piece up and popped the cover up. Simple fix that took them 10 minutes to fix. Luckily the dealer installed the GPS system in the truck, so no charge.
