Corvette, 30 lbs lighter, 505hp at 6300 rpm, Gallardo 500@7800 rpm, Corvette $109600 left in the bank because you bought right.
OF all the sports cars out there you cannot get more bang for your buck than with a Vette. certianly the itialian have a nice curb appeal, but you cannot use them as a grocery getter, way too pricey. the Vette you can run the wheels off of it, enjoy every minute and still have money to buy a second one.

I love the Vette, Next time I buy a new toy, I am think about a vette, not to say I wouldn't own a Murcielago, but the extra $225k you have to pay for it is quite a big chunk to take out of your weekly paycheck. murcielago
I drove a friend of mines 04 convertable Vette back from Napa this summer, that was pretty comfortable at 140.

tubi is an italian exhaust company, outrageously priced i might add, it's like $5K~$10k depending on the car i "think" they priced their exhaust system based on the car price

No doubt the Z06 is the fastest sportscar for the money, unfortunately, most dealers know that too = going rate is $30K over msrp

The new ZO6 will do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds in first gear. In fact, it will do 90 mph in first gear.
It is also tested by an independent firm to have 505 hp.

The Corvette SS will arrive in a couple of years. It's doubtful any info will be leaked about it but it is supposed to be above the Z06 and be SC'd along with other "wild" stuff.

I finally saw a Z06 upclose last night @ the opening cocktail party for the SF auto show. I must say, I loved the thing, but I would have preffered a little more difference in interior from the regular C6...I did LOVE the fact that they kept it a hatch back, and didn't go to the ridiculously small trunk like the previous z06 and fixed roof c5's
