When I took the cover off, the doohicky shifted out of view.
If I have to remove the ceiling panel to get at the doohicky, how do I do this? Must I make a cut in the panel?
Is there a fuse I can remove to get this doohicky to shut up?
The doohicky you're referring to is a sensor for the air conditioning I believe. apparently it's common for them to make this noise when they are worn out. You need to replace the sensor thing but I'll be damned if I know where to find one or how to take off the headlining.

Another problem: my TC and ABS warning lights come on for no apparent reason. (I think the battery is low).

Using a suitable flat bladed tool, release the retaining tabs and remove the assist handle.
2. Rotate the windshield garnish molding inboard to disengage the retaining tab, then rotate rearward to remove from vehicle.
3. Disconnect the speaker connector.
4. Remove the windshield garnish molding from the vehicle.
