I think about painting the chrome grille in my H3's color (black). I would like to know if anyone else did this before and if there might be any pictures somewhere? Thanks.

Here is a painted black H3 grill -- but its not color matched to the truck, of course..

I am hearing this could be an option in the near future. Would be body colored.

Thanks for the link. I like the black rims of the car shown. Not sure about the black grille though... I am a little scared that it might take away a lot of the "presence" the car naturally has.

But still... I consider going totally "anti-bling", so painting rims and grille black might look pretty cool as an overall concept (if it matches the car's body color).

Shark,

Take a pic and do a little photoshop action on it and see if you like or not. At least you would have an idea of how it would look.

I haven't looked into it but I can't imagine it would cost that much to have a reputable body shop color match it.

It's H2, but you can imagine how H3 will look like.

Unfortunately, it's not mine. I just bought Black H3 and my H3 is on the way to Japan, maybe, now it's in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and one more week to arrive Japan.
