Granted, burning hummers
because they pollute more than
pretty much anything is pretty dumb. But does it make anyone
think at all about your decision to drive one. Here are some
things that would deter me from getting one:

They pollute the air, allot.

They are dangerous for people inside and outside it.

Saudi Arabia funded the deaths of thousands of americans, and
if the average mileage was improved by several mpg's we
wouldn't have to give them money anymore.

I'm happy with the size of my penis.

These Frivolous accusations against Hummers, not only make you look
uneducated

But un-American. Granted Hummers avg from 12 mpg to 20 mpg. Does
that mean they pollute more than your avg car? Think about this next time
you’re sucking down fumes from a polluting 1995 family car or better
yet a car from the 1970’s. Yep, I feel very unsafe in my Hummer (being
sarcastic). The only time a Hummer’s becomes unsafe, is when
domestic radicals start lighting them on fire and polluting the atmosphere.
With your logic of Hummer’s supporting the death of thousands of
Americans. Are we all not guilty of this crime? Currently there are 204
million vehicles in the United States. Hummers make up less then .025%.
Before pointing fingers at Americans who are buying American cars,
maybe you should look at the source that is buying oil: Texaco, Mobil and
Amoco. Maybe a letter to them with your concerns might help save
lives. I’ll save you the trouble and help you out

Reasons why to by a Hummer.

* American General is an American Company, owned by GM.

* Hummers are protecting the troops in the gulf, who are in search of
the real infidels.

* Buying a Hummer stimulates US economic growth. ( $50K -$120K to an
American Company) not including tax and licensing which are going to
state and local governments.

* Safety

* Last but not least, helps me tow my 8 inch personality!!!!!!!

Sorry for any grammatical or spelling errors, I am on my wireless
blackberry.

GM does not own AM General. The option to buy them at the end of the contract (7 years) is on the table however.

Ira Rennert is considering selling AM General however. Get this he paid $20 million in 93 or 94 and it is now worth $1 billion.

And the Humvee/H1 is the only vehicle in the country that is 95% american made. Only 5% comes from other countries.

Albie:

Your #2 posts sums up much of what I've felt since the day I bought the H2.

I will never carry an ounce of guilt or feel the need to apologize for buying a Hummer. I'll renounce my American citizenship before that happens - NEVER!
