I just replaced the shraeder vale on my 03 H2 on the low side (smaller valve), and when I went to replace the shraeder valve on the high side (larger valve) i noticed there was no valve there.
What was in the port look like a small ballon at the bottom being held in place i guess by a ledge. It seems valve like in that I guess I could push in and it would rebound out.
Does this sound right?
Or is there something there on purpose and I need to just push it down and install the valve
I have had A/C issues from day one of this truck, and I am wondering if it is because the low side valve leaked and the high side valve is not even there?
Help?

it almost looks like there is a ball pressed up in to a hole, and if you press the ball down it opens up the line.
(almost like a ball on a spring... ball seals the opening because it is pressed up into the port, push the ball down and it opens it and then you release and it closes)
I took a screw driver and pushed and when i did it did release pressure/ air/ freon....
so i am just checking to see if this is correct or if some how there is suppose to be a shraeder valve there and it was blown out
(btw, I can come to think that if this ball / springs setup is actually the way it is from the factory.... then basically by looking at it... it wouldnt be a serviceable piece)
Please let me know what you think
if you need a picture I can try to get one
Thanks
