Does anybody have an opinion about Warn's HID off road lights. I have noticed that many people install the Warn light bar, but mount other manufacturer's lights on it. Is there a reason for this? I like the way the lights look, but don't know how they perform.
I already bought the warn light bar mount but don't know which lights to get. Any recommendations are welcome.

I've seen them at Warn a few times. They are HUGE!!! They won't fit on the Warn light bar. Even with a custom fabricated mount I wouldn't use them- they just don't look right with those big ass housings.
I've been seriously looking at the LightForce HIDs. They're a huge light, but they have a relatively shallow housing and a built in ballast.
I talked a friend of mine into getting them for his new F250 and he loves them.

Their U.S. site is under construction so you'll have to look at the Aussie one:

I'm not sure you are talking about the same lights. The ones I'm talking about are here...

You can even watch a video. Check it out.

I have them and they are great. Very bright at night and good for lighting up the ground when I drop my beer bottle. Heres a pic.

Will post more pics in another thread later when time permits. I'm almost done with my light setup and couldn't wait to post pics. I think my front bar is almost identical to James'. They are the Warn SDB-160HB.

Both those rigs look great, but why did you go with the Warn SDB-160s and not with the Warn HID lights? From what I've read, the HIDs are twice as bright, though three times more expensive.

AllDunn:
That Delta 10x light bar looks totally menacing. Very cool! I was going to get that one but decided not to because I didn't want to see the bottom of it when looking through the sunroof. Instead I got the XTC light bar that hangs way out in front. I got the rear light bar too; I just can't wait for someone to get behind me with their brights on!!
How do you like that Delta? Bright?

The Delta is HID, so that covers me for that. It is seriously bright as hell. Don't be fooled though. The front lights are no joke and the price was a big factor in that decision.

Alldunn:
Could you post a night-time pic with all the lights on so I can see what they can really do.
