Here are some key updates:

We'll see an Alpha H3 (probably 2007)before we see the Alpha H2(2009) -- The reason is the duramax will not fit in the current body style, so when they change that, they'll probably change the engine options as well. There are going to be two special editions for H3 and two for H2 every year (alternating quarterly, probably starting in 2007)...One of the first is the H2 Pacific Blue that they're only producing about 700 of...

What are you talking about? Early H3 owners have special editions already!

What I mean by that is we have the homelink, crossbows, floor mats, and anything else they changed between early on and now.

Only kidding of course!

Sounds cool. What does the "Alpha" add to the mix?

Just what we need...another blue!

Nothing is certain, but they were hinting at a diesel for the H3 Alpha

wonder what size diesel they would put into the H3?? And what gas mileage it would be as well. This could make a cross country trip more realistic when I get my H3 !

Yes there will be a diesel. But it will probably only be available for the ones built in South Africa. I don't think you will see an H3 Alpha until 2008.

Oh, if I could broach confidentiality, I could say a lot of things. ..but I can't; I like the paycheck, and so do my college sons, along with Michigan State and Arizona State.
But, no matter what comes down the GM pike in the next two years, I'm still one happy SOB when driving my Hummer, and glad I got it now, and not next year.
