Default Tools???

Question for seasoned H3 offroaders. Other than the obvious universal tools, there were some common size wrenches and sockets that I kept in my CJ tool kit. Is there any specific tools that you would carry in your H3 tool kit, other than the obvious universals?

On trips I bring 1/2" and 3/8" drive sockets in American and Metric and wrenches too. Also allen wrenches. (Yeah my tool box is really heavy)

Electrical tape, duct tape, hose clamps, bailing wire, JB Weld silicone seal the usual junk including a tire plugging kit.

There are some Torx bolts in some places on the H3 so you might want to carry a set of those.

I haven't done much wrenching on teh H3 so I can't tell you about any special or odd wrenches you might need.

When I get some spare tie rod ends a puller or pickle fork might be handy.

I aslo keep a small toll pouch handy with couple screw drivers pliers, dykes and channel locks for some quick fixes.

Thanks SR, informative article. I know in my CJ, U-Joints were a must.
