2 H3 family
After owning an H3 for a year it is now time to purchase a new second vehicle. My wife has laid claim to our first (birch white luxury) and I am strongly considering the purchase of a black luxury for myself. While I have had absolutely no problems with our current H3 to date, I can't help but wonder if owning two makes any sense.
The wife is in love with the Jeep Commander (please be careful slamming Jeeps too much as I owned 2 previous to the H3), so I know she would give the H3 back to me, but the incentives and dealer are making it very difficult not to buy the black mate. Hoping that like the VW Rabbit commercial that maybe some day I will open the garage to find a silver H3 or even H4 upon release.
What do you think..should I pull the trigger?

Re: 2 H3 family
only if you can talk her out of liking the commander personaly i think they are a wannabe jeep . just tell her how much better the three is and ask if she wants to roll on a set of 35's you cant fit them on the commander stock

Re: 2 H3 family
As much as I like the H3, I think it's boring to have 2 of the same vehicles in the coral. But that's just my opinion as an automotive/truck enthusiast. I prefer variety.
Maybe something different like an H2-SUT would mix things up a bit.
But everybody has different taste.

Re: 2 H3 family
I'd leave it up to her. The commander's not so bad, especially if you need the 3rd row seat

Commander with Hemi and 3rd row seat puts some horsepower in the garage.

Re: 2 H3 family
Hmmmm.... Get the H3 or an SUT.
More power to you on the jeep. I'm sure that Jeep will soon come out with the all-wheel-drive Grand MomMobile, especially Trail Rated for the urban environment...
I wish you luck on becoming a 2-Hummer household!

Variety: The spice of life.
As much as we love our truck, we couldn't deal with two of them.

Funny, I remember a thread talking about everyone pitching in on a used H2 that would be trailered to get togethers and used for parts
