Default Happy with my 2008

My 2005 lease ended Sept 7th and my wife talked me out of buying it outright. We wound up re-upping for a 2008 and I must say after almost close to 2 mos I am truly happy with the upgrades both in the interior and with the exterior. No option for where you want spare tire as it is now standard on an exterior rear carrier. Additional notable standards include a tire pressure monitoring system as part of the dash diagnostics, an input auxillary device for my ipod, and a remote vehicle starter on one of the spare keys.

The added power to the engine is a notable improvement in acceleration and pick up, and I am actually getting close to 15-16mpg on 87 octane. You really feel the power of the vehicle but it is a much more smoother and also quieter ride in the cabin. So far no pinging. The interior is plush and I am more comfortable in the drivers seat as they seem to have redone the position alignments. Being 6' 3" I have enough clearance now without bumping the roof with my head...even while riding over bumps on the road.

15-16 on 87 is outstanding. That would make the high dollar purchase a little better. Best of luck with it and keep us updated. I would love to get one, probably will wait off a year or two. When Hilllary is running the country and fuel is at $1.50 a gallon.

Cool. I am glad to hear good news about the upgrades over a bit of time on the road. That mileage is great. Wonder what the greens will say when you tell them you get the same or better mileage as most luxury sedans!

I was just kidding! There is no facts to support my theory! But I do think that we will see gas do down in the long run. So that is why I am not going to follow the masses and change my lifestyle. Really $3 a gallon isn't that bad. I think we will see under $2 again. Just my thoughts. I am sure someone will bring on another theory that has to do with China etc. Oh well.

As if the 'greens' really give a crap about the environment. It's envy, man. Pure and simple.
