Default FFUUUUUU

Imagine this, throwing your seatbelt off, taking note of how ****ty the mechanism that rolls it up is, getting out, closing the door... but wait the door didn't close... wait a minute... FUU

Seatbelt gets caught in door jam putting two big ole dings in the door and taking a large area of paint off the door sill, paint not worried about, door dings, however, piss me off, especially when I do them myself, I immediatly went for a quote, $250... screw that.

So I have 2 choices, get out the oxyacetylene torch weld some studs onto the center of the dents, attach a slide hammer, or go in from the inside with a ball point hammer.

Help? Laughs? sorry feelings for me? Deja vu?

Thanks...you've just given me another reason to not wear my seat-belt.

Paintless dent repair as far as the dings is your best bet..... I can assure you that welding on studs and then using a slide hammer will leave you having paint/body repair to be done which will get waaaay more expensive than $250. Going inside the door with a ball pein will also yield dents from the inside out, if your going to hammer from the inside out make sure and use a dolly.

Dont take offense but it sounds like any self made repairs by yourself are going to result in further damage based on your initial explanation of how you intend to do them.... take it somewhere and have it done right, if your anal enough to let door dings upset you then welding or hammering on it I can assure you will lead to further damage.

Good Luck and sorry to hear about the mishap
