THe only thing my H3 did not have that I wanted is a hitch. I ordered a Hidden Hitch which will be here this week. I plan to install it myself, they say I can do it in 30 mins. My question is whats the best/right way to tap into the lights? IS there a hidden connector to add a harness to?

There might be a bundle of wires taped up somewhere at the rear of the vehicle that contains the following wires in the bundle (may not have all these wires, but at least the park/turn/backup)
Yellow – left rear stop/turn supply
White – trailer ground
Dark blue – trailer aux supply
Dark green – right rear stop/turn supply
Red – Battery positive
Brown – trailer park lamps supply
Light green – backup lamp supply voltage

if you would like to have all 6 pins you need to run a few wires from the front right behind the battery box in the connector. the 12 volt battery and back up light voltage is there. just incase.

Thanks, much better with the factory hitch. too bad it's not done right on all of them! but the install looks nice on the aftermarket! There are skid plates for hitches so at least it'll slide a little

A lot of dealers order all their H3s for stock with the hitch because of how it integrates with the bumper. If you order it with the hitch, tell them you don't want the trailing accessory kit or whatever it's called. They charge $150 for it but I have seen everything that comes with it at Wal-Mart for about $25 total.

If anyone is looking to get a hitch for their H3 there is a full rear bumper with hitch and including wiring and brackets on Ebay right now.
