i love the black tires. did you have them powder coated. let me know what you did, timeline, cost. i'd like to get that done when my new ride arrives. black gas cap cover as well.

They are painted in body color. The guys who did it are specialists in modding cars, but they won't tell me what trick they use. The only thing I know is that the rims were NOT "de-chromized", only grounded and primed with some special primer.

I've known that styling garage for years, so I trust them that the paint works on the rims (they gave me a guarantee on that too).

Driven around for around 3k miles so far... no problems with the paint whatsoever.
