Ok- I want an MP3 Jukebox player for the H2. (NOT an iPod, archos, Nomad etc) I want a permanent, stand-alone, integrated system like the (not yet released) Rockford Fosgate Omnifi, Kenwood Music Keg, Neo JukeBox etc.
Fosgate Omnifi is my first choice, it has 802.11B wireless connectivity so you can make changes to your songs/playlists while your car is parked outside. Very cool, but release date keeps getting pushed back (probably September now) I just can't decide if it is worth the wait.?
The Kenwood Music Keg unit would be nice because I could also have Sirius Radio with their remote module control unit. Those with Sirius, Do you like the programming selections?
Neo just seems like a very small company. The display looks small, rudimentary and cheap. I have also heard about very poor customer service from them.
Questions:
-What hard drive players have you guys owned/seen/experienced?
-How bad would an FM modulator sound until the PAC interface comes out later this century?
-Are there other models or options I should consider?
-Anyone else considering one of these?
-Thanks in advance for your insight-

Albie-
The $80 dollar (can be found for $50) piece allows you to control Sirius and see id3 tag (file/track names) info from your MP3s. Its a cool looking little piece that could be surface mounted easily. I was thinking the module could be mounted on the back side of my sunroof control console. This is likely were the Omnifi controller will go too if I wait.
Alex- I haven't heard about this Onstar hack although I will sift through the archives. I've always wanted an integrated autopc but the logistics just seemed overwhelming. . .
Omnifi Question for tech gurus: Approximately how long would it take to transfer 20gb worth of data over an 802.11B connection to the Omnifi hard drive?

Yeah, I understand that 802.11G will be the new standard. It makes me glad that I've waited to buy my wireless access point. The new routers from Dlink and Linksys have dual B/G capability, but this still won't help Omnifi. I love technology - This product hasn't even been released and it's already showing signs of age.
