Default A/C Heat Blower/Fan Motor

I have a question, does anyone's H2 blower/fan motor blow when your not in it? I can park my 2007, and every 10 minutes on the dot, the blower motor will kick on and run for exactly 15 seconds. Then 10 minutes later it will kick on for another 15 seconds.

Does anyone know what this could be? or is this normal on a 2007?

The funny thing is, my 2008 H2 dont do this. My dealer claims this is normal.

I am not very impressed with my dealership anymore because due to the economy they have laid off a lot of the GOOD people. I wish I could take mine to other Cadillac Dealerships for warranty work, but I can only go to what use to be the Hummer Dealer.

Any help would be very appreciated

Default Re: A/C Heat Blower/Fan Motor

Many vehicles currently incorporate an afterblow function within the HVAC control module software. The afterblow feature, when enabled, employs the HVAC blower fan to dry the evaporator after vehicle shut down and this function will inhibit microbial growth.
