I like the look of bigger rims on the h3, it kindof make the suv look retro in a way to me. I would have some issues with putting 20's on the suv, I feel that this could make it more bling and less.....well hummer. I have entertained the idea of 18's, What size tires could I put under the suv? I really like the look of beefy side walls.

You can put 20" wheels on one. Half of the Hummers that leave the lot here in Fresno have them. If you are going to do any moderate trail running where your rig will encounter trees or rocks, any large aluminum wheel can be a liability.

They can bend easily on impact and break the tire bead.
