Default 50,000 mile transmission flush, no filters

Thought I'd share.

Cost for 50,000 fluid changes in Northern Central Illinois.
I change my own motor oil.

Dealer:

Transmission flush + drop oil plan for filter replace +16 qts: $260
rear diff: $150
front diff $150
trans case $150 Total: $710

Aamco:

Transmission flush + drop oil plan for filter replace +16 qts: $260
rear diff: $110
front diff $110
transfer case $110 Total: $590 minus $10 coupon WOW!

Local Express Lube:

Transmission flush + drop oil plan for filter replace +16 qts: $160
rear diff: $70
front diff $70
trans case $70 Total $ 370.

Well I took it to the local lube shop, which in addition is only 6 blocks from my house.

But I was told there are NO transmission filters available.
The dealer said that in the transfer of Hummer ownership they are acummilating a back log of parts. The dealer cannot get them. So the lube shop did not drop the oil pan. So flush was only $100.

They said my transmission oil had normal wear,
but the rear and front diff. was black.

Interesting #'s. Did they use synthetic lubes?

Is 50K the recommended interval for all that?
