Default problems starting my H2

so this just started yesterday morning.

normally, i would turn the key, and before i got the key fully turned, my baby would start right up.

now, i turn the key and would just crank a few revs and not start up. would have to do this about 3 times for it to finally startup.

any thoughts?

brand new battery
plenty of gas in the tank
clean air filter
no warnign lights at all

HUMTECH is an unknown quantity at this point

could also be leaking injectors, does it smell rich when it finally starts. Dirty throttle body can cause some hard starting concerns.

well got my baby back from the dealership.

turned out to be a leaky fuel pressure regulator that was causing the hard starts.

cost me $116.00 for the replacement and install since it went in under my extended warranty.

You have extended warranty and still had to pay $116? You have deductible? who do you have your warranty through. I am looking to get some, so just looking at everybody's experience.
Thanks,
Max

US Fidelity
think it cost about $2200 for 1 year/12k miles

ya $100.00 deduct

the extra costs was the shop adding in for use of tools of some made up crap.
i find it fishy, but the fact it took took them a few hours to get my H2 back to me instead of a few days, i was willing to pay it.

Ouch......that seems really high. I just purchased a GMPP Major Guard with $100 deductable from Blacks GM Outlet for $1390, this is a bumper to bumper warranty basically the same as the standard new car warranty. My coverage is for 36 months and 24K miles, we really dont drive the H2 that much, my wife takes the train (we live 1 block from it). It was cheaper to buy time vs. mileage but in 3 years I doubt we will even put 20K on it.... pull my skis to the river/lake couple times per month, take an occasional road trip and use it to go snowboarding in the winter.

I am still under factory warranty through the end of August and Im not even close on my mileage.

well being still under original warranty will make a huge difference in price you will pay for a after market warranty. the closer you get to the 5/50k mark, the price goes up... by alot.

my H2 is out of warranty right now. within the last 4 months i have had it, i have put on about 7k miles.. i love driving it too much.
