Default gas smell and a/c help

Hey all.
Well i have a bit of a problem x2.
Ok my ac fixer guy sorta fixed my ac but it turns out that it stillll leaks. He told me the second time he worked on it that it was a bad truck valve. Stating the one closest to the cabin of the truck was sticking open. So now i am probably going to have to replace that.
I am curious how much it would cost to replace that pipe.
Also wondering if there is any other place it could leak at inside the truck. Like is there a chance it could? Also does the ac have any known problems with leaks in this truck since basically everything outside the cabin except for that one pipe has been replaced.

Ok second issue. Ever since the ac was "fixed" every time i fill up the tank i smell a bad gas smell in the cabin. It seems to go away after about 5 minutes. Any ideas?
I have no idea if this is a known issue or what could have happened.
I hope you can help with these. Thanks
